Barbara Ann Elmore

June 20, 1939 — November 21, 2011

Barbara Ann Wilson Elmore only child of Bill Wilson and Ailene Suits Wilson grew up with cousins whom she loved a great deal and told of fun times growing up with them She loved to talk about growing up on Ball Park Curve and knowing most everyone, because everyone came to the ball field at one time or the other. Especially for the 4th of July celebration with sack races, greasy pole climbing and all day ball games. The day ended with a fireworks display. Friends and family gathered in her yard for end of day and watching fireworks, there was usually home made ice cream. That tradition continued after she and Harry were married and had their first home on Parker avenue. Friends and family would gather to watch the fireworks display from Clevelands first new mall the Village shopping center. Always ice cream followed. She accepted CHRIST as her savior when she was 24 and never forgot that for all of her life God cared for her, She rarely feared the future because she knew that God was in control, and that was o.k. She was a happy person who enjoyed her family and friends. She was currently a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland and a former member of North Cleveland, where she and Harry attended for 31 years. Friends were always an important part of her life, she could count on them, and they on her. She was blessed in life. She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 50 years Harry Elmore; her parents Bill and Ailene Suits Wilson;high School friend and maid of honor, Sylvia Cornelison Bedwell. Children and grandchildren whom she loved daily and forever, Franklin and Marisa Elmore, Grayson and Ellen Elmore; Beth Elmore Aronica, Anne Wilson Aronica; and Nick Aronica, Amy Elmore Hicks and Wes Hicks.
