John “Johnny” William Johnson Johnny William Johnson, 77, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in a Chattanooga hospital. He was a member of Four Point Baptist Church, where he served as an usher. He retired from C.C. Card Ford and Bob Card Auto. He was preceded in death by his parents; Marshall and Neva Fain Johnson; son, David Johnson; sister, Mary Hawkins and brother, Charlie Johnson. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Ann Rayburn Johnson of Cleveland; son, Wayne Johnson of Cleveland; grandchildren, Michael Johnson and wife, Christie of Cleveland and Bryan Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Donovan, Abby and Alex Johnson also of Cleveland; sisters and brothers, Lillie Mae Malone of Athens, Pat Dexter of Cleveland, Bessie Frazier of Charleston, Henrietta Johnson of Cleveland, Bobby Spence of Benton, Junior Johnson of Cleveland, Mack Johnson of Cleveland, Herman Johnson of Cleveland and Billy Johnson of Cleveland. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 7, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Ray Cheatem and the Reverend Rick Ellis officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Wayne Bishop, Roger Bishop, Kenneth Rayburn, Darrell Officer, Glen Cartwright, Michael Johnson, Michael Cabrera and Tommy Price will serve as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5 – 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the funeral home.
