Daniel Victor Weddle Jr.

Daniel Victor Weddle, Jr., 67, a resident of Cleveland, and a former resident of Jefferson, Ohio, passed away at a local hospital on Monday, September 26, 2011. Dan was born April 17, 1944 in Rock Creek, Ohio. Dan retired from Shaw Industries in Dalton, Georgia. Dan was the son of the late Daniel V. Weddle, Sr. and Jessie L. Abbott Weddle and was also preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Jean Weddle. He is survived by his daughter, Gidget Barber of Martinsburg, West Virginia; son, Daniel V. Weddle, III of Conneaut, Ohio; grandchildren: Koby Hoff of Hagerstown, Maryland, Samantha Barber and Destiny Mills both of Martinsburg, West Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Charles and Terry Weddle of Jefferson, Ohio; nephew, Craig Weddle and wife, Crista of Michigan; great niece, Keegan and great nephew, Chaze both of Michigan. A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
