Kenneth Alexander Mincey

Kenneth Alexander Mincey, 58, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 in a local hospital. He was of the Baptist faith. He was employed with First Fleet as a truck driver. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the 101st Airborne. Mr. Mincey was the son of the late Jack Wheeler Mincey and Gladys Olean Brown Mincey and was also preceded in death by his brother, Gerald David Mincey. He is survived by his wife, Mary Mincey of Cleveland; three children: Leslie Mincey of Cleveland, William Mincey of Mobile, AL and Christy Alexander of Gadsden, AL; five grandchildren; three sisters, Jackie Howard of Alexander City, AL, Freda Roberson and Ramona Machen both of Gadsden, AL; one brother, William Mincey of Gadsden, AL; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 C.D.T. Sunday in Gadsden, AL. Ralph Buckner Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
