Virginia J George

Virginia J. George, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2011 at a local healthcare facility. She was a member of Eastside Church of Christ. She was retired from Frigidaire Corporation in Dalton, GA. She was preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Hulda McElroy Davis; daughter, Sharon George; son, Danny George; brothers, Hubert Davis, Marvin Davis and Kenneth Davis; sister, Beatrice Strawn and grandson, Justin Eslinger. Survivors include her children, Roy George and wife, Lisa, Troy George and wife, Chrissy and Regina George, all of Cleveland; eight grandchildren, Jonathan George, Ryan George, Michael George, Dustin George, Sheena Cox, Ivan Pritchett, Tanner Anderson and Heather Fredrick; seven great-grandchildren; brother, Ronald Davis of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, October 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Eastside Church Of Christ with the Minister Jeff Archey officiating. Interment will follow in Dill Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 13, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
