John Michael Fandrey, 65, of Cleveland, passed away, Friday, August 5, 2011 at a Chattanooga Hospital. He attended Pine Hill Church of God, where he was involved in many activities. He had a deep appreciation of antique cars. Mr. Fandrey was retired from Mohawk Carpet Mill in Chatsworth, GA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustus and Anna Fandrey; brother, Bill Fandrey and daughter, Natasha Marie Fandrey. He is survived by his wife, Bea Fandrey of Cleveland; three children, Beverly Haney and husband, David, and Brian Fandrey all of Cleveland, and Kevin Fandrey and wife, Anna of Riverside, CA; two grandchildren, Charisa Haney of Cleveland and Catherine Fandrey of Riverside, CA; and sister, Helen Klisch of Huntley, IL. Several nieces and nephews also survive, along with special friends, Gary and Lucy Smith and Lonnie and Jessie Barker all of McDonald. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Pastor David Beatty officiating. Interment will follow in Lee Cemetery in McDonald with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. His family will receive friends from 11:00- 8:00 Monday, August 8, 2011 at the funeral home and Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 12:00- 2:00 prior to the service.
