Cas Collins

Cas Collins, 80, a resident of Benton, went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, August 13, 2011 in a local healthcare facility. He was a member of Chestuee Baptist Church. He always had a gentle and kind spirit and enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. He was employed with Hardwick Farms for 32 years. Mr. Collins was the son of the late William M. Collins and Jessie Rue Collins and was also preceded in death by his son, Alfred Collins and infant son, William Clarence Collins. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Helen Moore Collins of Benton; one daughter, Mary Ann Goodwin and husband, Brian of Cleveland; two grandchildren: Brogen Goodwin and McKinley Goodwin; one sister, Ethel Mae McNew of Loudon, TN; daughter-in-law, Donna Foley of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 16, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Guinn Green and Reverend Jerrell Fowler officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Kingston, TN with Levi Garcia, Randy Moore, David Foley, Gregg Lynn, Josh Lynn and Randy Lynn serving as pallbearers. His family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
