Shirley Anglin Christian

Shirley Christian, 65, of Raysal, West Virginia passed away, Friday, September 9, 2011 at the home of her son, Robert Christian. She was of Pentecostal faith. She was an avid outdoors person and gardener. She was also a special grandmother to all her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Anglin and Opal Mills Anglin; sister, Eloise Christian and brothers, Douglas and Ronnie Anglin. She is survived by her six children, Candi Christian, Ella Christian, Tabitha Christian and Robert Christian and wife, Basheia all of Cleveland, Anita Widby and husband, Jeff of East Ridge, and Donald Christian and wife, Tammy of Raysal, WV; nine grandchildren, Anthony and Tyler Christian (whom Shirley helped raise), Miranda Jenkins, Stefan Davis, Jordan, Justin and Emily Christian and Conner and Ethan Christian; brothers, Jerry Lee Anglin and wife Carolyn and Leland Anglin and sisters, Betty Anglin Wright and husband, Virgil and Teresa Anglin. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at 4:00 p.m. at United Atwell Church of God, Atwell, WV, with the Reverend Roger Hale, Jr. officiating.
