Mary Marlene Hall, 76, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011 at the family residence. She was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church. She was retired from American Uniform with forty four years of service. Mrs. Hall was the daughter of the late Arnold Tarpley and Edith Curtis Tarpley and was also preceded in death by her brother, Warren Tarpley and son-in-law, Daniel R. Thompson. She is survived by her husband, Claude Hall of Cleveland; one daughter, Brenda Thompson of Cleveland; one grandchild, Dane Thompson and friend Sheila Bates of Cleveland; two sisters: Hazel Beshears of Cleveland and Inez Jones of Plant City, FL; two brothers: David Tarpley and Kenneth Tarpley both of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Lee Ingram and Reverend Mike Rymer officiating. Interment will follow in Samples Memorial Cemetery with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Her family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
