Pearl Edna Pope

Pearl Edna Pope, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 in a local hospital. Mrs. Pope was the daughter of the late James Parris and Ella V. Thomas Parris and was also preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Pope; one son, Elvin Lee Pope and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her daughter, Georgia Ledford of McDonald; ex son-in-law, Jessie Ledford; four grandchildren, Darlene Watson and husband, Randy Watson, Rickey Lee McMurray, Kay Howard and Jeff Ledford and wife Elesha Ledford all of Cleveland; five great-grandchildren, Debra Bohannon, Crystal Spurgeon and husband Tim Spurgeon, Lacy Watson, Kimberly McDowell and Christopher Howard; eleven great-great grandchildren; one brother, Tommy Parris of Nashville. Her family will have a gathering of friends Sunday, June 26, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
