Lacey Allen

Lacey Caitlin Allen, 20, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, July 7, 2011, from injuries received in an automobile accident. She was a wonderful daughter and granddaughter, and a loving sister. She was a member of Clingan Ridge Baptist Church, and a 2009 graduate of Walker Valley High School where she loved sports and excelled in basketball. She had finished her sophomore year at Tennessee Wesleyan College and was currently employed at the YMCA and at Aubrey?s Restaurant. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, David Allen, Sr. She is survived by her parents: DeWayne and Ginger Rollins Allen of Cleveland; maternal grandparents, David and Virginia Rollins, Sr. of Cleveland; paternal grandmother, Jeanette Allen of Cleveland; brother, Lucas Allen and wife KaLee of Cleveland; sister, Laurel Allen of Cleveland; several aunts and uncles: Carol and James Beaty, David and Renee Rollins, Jr., Ernie and Amy Rollins, Darlene and Mike Clonts, Jaylene Allen, Gail and Donald Thomas, David and Yolanda Allen, Anita and Dennis Morgan and Tammy and Brian Townsend; and many cousins. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 11, 2011, at Clingan Ridge Baptist Church with Reverend Donald Whitehead and Reverend Ricky Vaughn officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Her cousins will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 3 ? 8 p.m. Sunday at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
