Roger Carroll Hubert Roger Carroll, 61, a resident of Cleveland, is now celebrating his new life in heaven with Jesus Christ as of Saturday, July 23, 2011. His sudden departure of this life is being grieved by his family and friends. He was a wonderful caregiver for his 100 year old mother. He owned and operated Roger Carroll?s Used Cars. His Christian membership is with Waterville Baptist Church, but he attended and worshiped at Lamb of God Church. He lived his Christian faith every day through his kindness, gentleness, patience and his daily walk. He loved his children, granddaughter and special friend and will be sadly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, James Lee Carroll, sister, Frances Owens, grandparents: Rev. H.R. and Carrie McCamish and Oscar and Mary Carroll, and brothers-in-law: James Jones, Lamar Benker and Robert "Pete" Cameron. He is survived by his children: Michelle Polier and Jamey Carroll, both of Cleveland; granddaughter, Annalise Polier of Cleveland; mother, Anna Lee Carroll of Cleveland; brother, James Donald Carroll and wife Shirley of Cleveland; nine sisters: Evelyn Jones, Norma Delay, Gloria Cameron, Barbara Duggan and husband Jack, Kay Suits and husband Bob, Edna Polier and husband Jim, all of Cleveland, Betty Benker of Lenior City, Sandra Caswell and husband Andy of Carrollton, Georgia, and Brenda Van Huff and husband Al of Anchorage, Alaska; his special friend, Darlene Land and her daughter Autumn; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. His home-going will be celebrated Tuesday, July 26, 2011, at 11:00 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Jamey Carroll, Jack Duggan, Andy Caswell, Randall Bivens, Billy Headrick and Matt Polier serving as pallbearersand Don Carroll serving as honorary pallbearer. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5 ? 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
