Michael Reid Durham, 61, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011. He was a resident of Cleveland for the past 16 years and was a former resident of Knoxville. He was a member of The Church at Grace Point and spent the last two years as a missionary in Honduras at Orphanage Emmanuel. He was a veteran of the United States serving in the Air Force. Mr. Durham was the son of the late Kenneth Durham and Emma Lee Edwards Durham. He is survived by his three children: Justin Baty Durham of Murfreesboro, TN, Logan Michael Durham and his wife Lori Hampton Durham of Knoxville, TN and Mallory Reese Durham of Memphis, TN and their mother, Jill Suits Durham of Cleveland; one grandchild, Asher Logan Durham of Knoxville, TN; three sisters: Becky Denton, Debra Lovell both of Newport, TN and Denise Fox of Sevierville, TN; one brother, Brian Durham of Newport, TN; several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Matt Davies and Dr. Ronnie Hill officiating. His family will receive friends from 12-2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the funeral home prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, Mr. Durham would like memorials to be given to Orphanage Emmanuel.
