Faye C. Stevenson, 73, a resident of Greeneville for the past nine years, passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at her home. She was a native of Mississippi but spent most of her life in the Memphis area. She was of the Methodist faith. She was preceded in death by her parents, Benjamin Samuel and Pauline Morgan Clower, and daughter, Lilly Katherine Stokes. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Bill Stevenson of Greeneville; two children: Paula Lamons and husband Dr. John Lamons of Greeneville, and Ben Stevenson and wife Patti of Cleveland; eight grandchildren: Ben, Morgan and Katie Lamons of Greeneville, Dustin, Alex and Austyn Stevenson of Cleveland, and Caleb and Collin Stokes of Arlington; two sisters: Julia Rose and husband Dr. Walter Rose of Indianola, Mississippi, Bebe Romine and husband John of Kosciusko, Mississippi; one brother, Dr. Bennie Clower of Raymond, Mississippi; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Boone Funeral Home in Indianola, Mississippi, with Reverend Allen Bailey officiating. Interment will follow in Indianola Cemetery. Her family will receive friends from 10 – 11 a.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home.
