Catherine Wooden

Catherine Wooden, 70, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, March 13, 2011 at the family residence. She was a member of The Church at Grace Point and a former member of Calico Squares. She was retired from Advanced Photographic Solutions. Mrs. Wooden was the daughter of the late John Daniel Parks and Beulah Johnson Parks and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Robin Haney and a brother, Frank Parks. She is survived by her husband Benny Wooden of Cleveland; children and spouses: Danny and Susie Haney, Ronnie and Sandy Haney, Ralph and Linda Haney, Charlie and Renée Haney all of Cleveland, Bruce Wooden of Grand Rapids, Michigan and Renée Duckworth of Cleveland; twenty grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters and spouses: Bonnie and Bill Repass of New Market, TN, Henrietta Paul of Athens, Charlotte and Tom Reed of Cleveland, Penny and Doug Roy of Cleveland; one brother and spouse: Neil and June Parks of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Griffin officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with sons serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. Her family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at the funeral home.
