Gary Lane Hammond

Gary Lane Hammond, 50, a resident of Decatur, passed away Friday, February 4, 2011 at the family residence. He is survived by his father, Oliver Lee Hammond, Jr. and mother, Carol Hammond of Decatur; one brother, Mike Hammond and wife Sue Hammond; three sisters: Vicky Price and husband Tony Price, Lisa Beckler and husband Jerry Beckler and Lori Crisp and husband Shannon Crisp; several nieces and nephews, Michael Hammond, Jr. and wife Tracy Hammond, Chad Hammond and wife Dorothy Hammond, Joe Hampton, Connor Hampton, Peyton Hampton, Brice Hammond, Dustin Woods, Malachi Ray, Bridgett Gumm, Christopher Gumm, Sean Price, Trea Price, Alexis Ward, Meagan McKay, P.J. McKay, Roy Crisp and Montana Crisp; special favorite uncle Bob Hammond. Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Hugh Bryan officiating. A graveside committal for family and friends will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at Johnston Cemetery in Meigs County. His family will receive friends from 4-7 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011 at the funeral home prior to the service. Memorials can be made to the Mount Carmel U.M.C.
