Ernest Parker

Ernest C. “JR” Parker, 58, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011, in a local hospital. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was an avid Alabama football fan as well as an avid fisherman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Cleo and Ethelyne Edwards Parker. He is survived by his wife, Karen Parker of Cleveland; two sons: James Parker and wife Amber of Athens, and Jason Rowell and wife Stephanie of Charleston; one grandson, Matthew Dylan Rowell; one brother, James N. Parker of Spring City; and one half brother, Robert Dean Parker of Alabama. Funeral services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. Monday, February 7, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Cole officiating.
