Patsy Caroline Wilson, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed to her home in Heaven on February 11, 2011, after a lengthy illness. She attended Bellefounte Baptist Church. A Bradley County native, she was preceded in death by her parents, Thelma and Walter Woods, grandparents, Minerva and Clifford Hammond of Cleveland, great grandparents, Henry and Caroline Shields of Polk County, and uncle, Jack Owen of Cleveland. From her youth Patsy enjoyed her ministry of teaching the Bible. As a Southern Baptist, she taught study courses throughout Bradley County including one course at Bellefounte Baptist Church in 1950 where she met Bob, her husband of 59 years. A gifted teacher, she taught elementary school Bible classes in McMinn County for a number of years and was a substitute teacher for Bradley County. Patsy?s passion for music led her into different ministries. She used her beautiful voice to share her faith as she often sang her favorite hymn "The Love of God". For many years she was choir director of the Charleston Cumberland Presbyterian Church. As a director in the Lady Love/Tarrah Cosmetic business, she led in district sales across the southeast. She was the recipient of numerous company awards as she enjoyed and expanded her business. She is survived by her husband, Robert B. Wilson, Jr., of Cleveland; three children: attorney Robert B. Wilson III and wife Sherry of Cleveland, Patti Kuhns and husband Ron of Ooltewah, and Sally O?Grady and husband Jack of Cleveland; seven grandchildren: Beth Young and husband Derek of Soddy Daisy, Robert B. Wilson IV (Rob) and wife Angela of Cleveland, Ty O?Grady of Cleveland, Tim Wilson of Cleveland, David Kuhns and wife Dena of Kansas City, Missouri, Sean O?Grady of Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Jenni Kuhns of Ooltewah; two great grandchildren: Chloe Young of Soddy Daisy and Robert "Bryant" Wilson V of Cleveland; brother, Dallas Woods and wife Mary Lou of Cleveland; sister-in-law, Mary Tim Burgin and husband Bob of Cleveland; aunt, Dot Owen of Cleveland; and several nieces and nephews and many friends. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 Monday, February 14, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with The Reverends Lake Walker and Bill Bond officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with Don Harris, Wes Haney, Danny Watson, Calvin Arnold, Gene Canup and Jim Tindal serving as pallbearers.
