Dottie Dee Barnett, 91, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 11, 2011. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Polk County Historical Society. She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Chloe Long Shelton, and son, Tommy McKamey. She is survived by her husband, Olive Barnett of Cleveland; daughter, Charlotte Stiles of Chattanooga; four grandchildren: Monica McKamey of Cleveland, Eric Stiles of Lookout Mountain, Dana Dee Stiles of Summerfield, NC, and Brandi McKamey McKenzie of Jackson, MS; five great-grandchildren: Allana Walsh of Cleveland, Caitlin Walsh of Cleveland, Benjamin Maxwell Stiles of Lookout Mountain, Maggie McKenzie of Jackson, MS, and Chloe McKenzie of Jackson, MS; two great great-grandchildren: Attikus Allen and Maxton Sowder, both of Cleveland; and one nephew, Billy Bates of Benton. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 15, 2011, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Paul and Reverend Kenneth Scoggins officiating. Interment will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Chattanooga National Cemetery concluding with a white dove release ceremony. Her family will receive friends from 6 ? 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
