Carmen E. St. Clair, 86, a resident of Rocky Face, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, February 15, 2011 in a Murfreesboro veteran hospital. He was of the Church of God faith. He was an award winning avid fisherman, loved music and loved his family. He was a veteran of the US Navy where he served in WWII. He was retired from the US Coast Guard with the rank of Chief Warrant Officer with 24 years of service. Mr. St. Clair was the son of the late Joy St. Clair and Bertha Hendrix St. Clair and was also preceded in death by his wife, Jo St. Clair and sister, Gwen Minton. He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Wolf of Rocky Face, GA; one granddaughter, Laura E. Wolf of Rocky Face, GA; two brothers: Harold St. Clair and Hershel St. Clair both of Beaver Dam, KY; several nieces and nephews also survive. A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2011 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with military honors. His family will receive friends from 3-5 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
