Howard Lee Sudbury, 80, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the family residence. He was a resident of Cleveland for the past 10 years coming from Lansing, Michigan. He attended Westmore Church of God. He was an Independent Pentecostal Minister. He was a veteran of the United States Airforce. Mr. Sudbury was the son of the late Leroy Sutberry and Eva May Johnson Sutberry. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Burley Sudbury of Cleveland; four children and spouses: David and Brenda Sudbury of Dalton, GA, Daniel and Karen Sutberry of Ooltewah, Debra and Ted Gleason of Mulliken, Michigan and Stephen and Janet Sudbury of Ringgold, GA; eight grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings: Sue Stevens of Nederland, TX, Beverly Craft of Mason, Michigan and Doris Keefer of Wixom, Michigan; Michael Sutberry of Quakertown, PA, Ronald Sutberry of Lansing, MI and Joan Sutberry of Lansing, MI; brother-in-law, Jerry Branson of San Antonio, TX and several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Westmore Church of God with Pastor Wendell Smith officiating. Inurnment will be held at Brock Cemetery in Greenfield, TN at a later date.
