June Edgemon

June Edgemon, 76, a resident of Charleston, TN, passed away Thursday, February 24, 2011. She was a member of Bellefounte Baptist Church since 1962 where she was a member of W.M.U. She worked in research and development at M&M Mars before her retirement and worked at J.H. Kellmans for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edward Holland and Roxie C. Moses Holland, son, Stephen Edgemon and an infant brother. She is survived by her son, Perry Edgemon of Charleston; two grandchildren: James Ross Edgemon and wife Angel and Tiffany Whitehead and husband, Donlee all of Cleveland; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Eddie Holland and wife Norma of Athens; one niece and one nephew also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Lake Walker officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service. Arnold Moss, Reed Goins, Donlee Whitehead, Darren Davis, Rex Holland and Mitchell Jenkins will serve as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 3-6 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2011 at the funeral home prior to the service.
