John Steven Soroka

John Steven Soroka, 68, a resident of Cleveland and a former resident of Michigan, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the family residence. He was an Assembly of God minister and attended Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene. Mr. Soroka was the son of the late William and Rose Odor Soroka and was also preceded in death by his siblings, William Soroka and Delores Soroka. He is survived by his wife, Carlene Soroka of Cleveland; three children and spouses: John and Sandy Soroka of Romeo, MI, Cindy Soroka of Novi, MI and Rhonda and Bob Perry of Plymouth, MI; grandchildren: Karissa Olson, Sierra and Michael Soroka, Dominic and Stephen Rardazzo, Alex and Grace Perry; siblings: Irene Wanner of Clarkston, MI and Norm Soroka of Rochester, MI; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene with Reverend R. David O’Neal officiating. Interment will be held in Michigan. His family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at the church prior to the service. Memorials may be made to Cleveland First Church of the Nazarene.
