Alesia Marie Elrod, 46, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Friday, January 21, 2011 in a Cleveland hospital. She was a member of Trinity Chapel. She was a member of the Oak Grove Ruritan Club and a March of Dimes poster child from 1969 through 1970. She was also a Sweetheart of the 365 Club. Alesia was preceded in death by her first husband, Paul Emile Franck and her second husband, Ray Elrod; father, Hugh Johnson and one uncle Ronald L. Cancler. She is survived by her mother, Marie Johnson Miller of Cleveland; uncle, Frank Cancler of Cleveland; one brother, Roger L. Johnson of Cleveland; two nieces: Amber Johnson and Kim Kibble; one nephew, Keith Lynn Johnson; several cousins also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 23, 2011 at the Trinity Chapel with Pastor Ronnie Bishop and Pastor Ronnie Pearson officiating. Interment will be held at 4:30 p.m. at Mt. Vernon Cemetery in Turtletown with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.
