Wilma Dean Stansberry, 71, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, December 30, 2010 at a local hospital. She was a member of Mt. Olive Ministries and was a member of the Way Makers Sunday SchoolClass. She loved to travel with the Tween Agers of Mt Olive Ministries. She sold Sarah Coventry Jewelry for 17 years and was a caregiver to many. She never met a stanger and was loved by many. Mrs. Stansberry was the daughter of the late Wiley and Maggie Gaston and was also preceded in death by her brother, Junior Gaston, sister, Leona Fowlkes and a grandson, Colby Stansberry. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Bobby Stansberry of Cleveland; one daughter, Debbie Gentry and husband Allan of Athens; three sons: Charles Stansberry of Cleveland, Terry Stansberry and wife Michelle of Cleveland and Jeff Stansberry and wife Missy of Cleveland; one brother, Don Gaston of San Antonio, Texas; grandchildren, Aaron and Jessica Stansell of Ft. Knox, KY, Stephen Stansell of Athens, Brittany and Patrick Lowe of Cleveland, Bethany Wilcox of Cleveland, Brynn Stansberry of Cleveland, Beth and Rob Clark of Athens and Kelly and Keith Martin; great-grandchildren: Bryson, Noah, Sarah, Xavier, Zack, Madison, Landon, Leighton, Jordan, Carson, Hannah, Christian and Hayden. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2011 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Sears officiating and music by Eric Stansberry. Interment will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Bob Stansberry, Charles Stansberry, Jeff Stansberry, Terry Stansberry, Stephen Stansell and Debbie Gentry will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are the Sassy Tennessee Sister’s Red Hatters. Her family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2011 at the funeral home.
