Wanda Viola Walker, 76, a resident of Cleveland, went home to enjoy a peaceful life with the Lord on Saturday, May 24, 2014 at a Chattanooga healthcare facility. She was a member of Community Chapel Church of God. She was an accomplished quilt maker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred David and Elsie Belle Dodson; son, Marion Franklin Boring; two sisters, Willie Ruth Goodwin and Barbara Ann Crittenden; two brothers, Raymond E. Dodson and Doyle (Buck) Dodson; and ex-husband, Charles Fred Walker.

She is survived by two daughters, Frances Diane Barrera and husband Alberto, Kay Land and husband Terry; five grandchildren, Christy Thompson, Sheena Corbett, Stacy Byers, Tracy Cimo, and Trevor Land; four great-grandchildren, Shakur Lovelady, Andrew Byers, Trevor Byers, and Matthew Byers; three sisters, Eva Dixon, Edith Faye Goodwin, and Joy Dodson; one brother Dale Dodson; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 26, 2014 at Lee Cemetery in McDonald with Pastor Ron Lesley officiating. Andre Cimo, Heath Corbett, Richard Coley, Robert Alloway, Willard C. Walton, and Dale Wilson will serve at pallbearers.
