Thomas Conner

Thomas “Tom” Conner, 79, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in a local hospital.  He was a golden glove boxer in his youth. He adored his grandchildren and was a fighter till the end.

Mr. Conner was preceded in death by his wife, Jewell Conner; son, Benjamin Lee Harris and parents, Luther Conner and Nellie Conner.

He is survived by his son, Terry Lee Harris of Cleveland; one granddaughter, Melissa Nicole Harris Parsons and husband, Daniel Parsons of Cleveland; two great-grandchildren:  Austin Blake Parsons and Sadie Nicole Parsons both of Cleveland; one niece, Susan Melton of Cleveland and one great-niece, Samantha Melton of Cleveland.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, May 23, 2014 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Pastor Dustin Wilds officiating.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
