Helen M. Ray Harris, 84, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Saturday, November 6, 2010 in a Dunlap healthcare facility. She was a member of Union Grove Church of Christ. She was retired from Shaw Industries in Chatsworth, Georgia. Mrs. Harris was the daughter of the late Clifford and Parlee Kincaid Carver and was also preceded in death by her first husband, Clyde Ray, daughter, Charlotte Janette Ray King and grandson, Glen Johnson. She is survived by her husband, Quinten Harris Georgetown; daughter, Pat Plemons of Soddy Daisy; sons: Don Ray of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Mike Ray of Tellico, TN; seven grandchildren: Sharon Price, Robbie Johnson, Scott King all of Cleveland, Barbara Evans of Ringgold, GA, Gary Don Ray of Cleveland, Terry Culbertson of Soddy Daisy and Teresa Roach of Hixson; twelve great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; four sisters: Carol Cartwright and Juanita Crick both of Cleveland, Irene Brown of Murfreesboro and Geraldine McGaha of Charleston; one brother, G.C. (George) Carver of Cleveland; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, November 8, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Bill Wilkinson officiating. Interment will follow in Union Grove Church of Christ Cemetery with Terry Culbertson, Robbie Johnson, Ryan Johnson, Allen Cook, Adam Cook and Gary Don Ray serving as pallbearers. Her family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, November 7, 2010 at the funeral home.
