Jim Elliott

JIM ELLIOTT, 59, passed away Friday, November 19, 2010, in a Chattanooga hospital. He was of the Christian faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Elliott, and brothers, Lee Elliott and Terry Elliott. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Horner Elliott of Cleveland; two children, Shannon Raines of Strough, IN and James Parker of Decatur, AL; four grandchildren, Richie Ryan Raines, Elizabeth Raines, Liam Raines, and Delilah Raines; and two sisters, Sue Melton and Sherry Witherspoon both of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 22, 2010, at 4:00 P.M. at Cedar Springs Cemetery with Pastor Leroy Elliott officiating. The service will conclude with military honors. The family will receive friends at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home Sunday, November 21, 2010, from 3:00-5:00 P.M.
