Robert Earl Birchfield

Robert Earl Birchfield, 66, a resident of McDonald, passed away Friday, March 26, 2010. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a local carpenter for 40+ years. He attended Eagles Chapel. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Myrtle Lynn Birchfield and sister, Robbie Presley. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Alida Birchfield of McDonald; three children:Carol Henry, Robert E. Birchfield, Jr. and Tammy Staton all of Cleveland; six grandchildren; three great grandchildrren;two sisters, Bessie Choate of Melbourne FL and Pearl McGill of Conover, NC; brother, Ralph Birchfield of Cleveland and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday in Hilcrest Memorial Gardens. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
