Frank “Alfie” Rockholt, 62, a resident of Georgetown, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2010 in a Chattanooga hospital. He attended Georgetown Baptist Church. He was retired from Maytag Corporation. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He enjoyed car shows, antique cars and restoring vehicles in his own garage. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank Rockholt; mother, Ressie Banther Ford; sisters, Francis Craig and Flora Hixon; and brother, Henry Ford. Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Teresa Rockholt of Georgetown; daughter and son-in-law, Lisa Rockholt Kerley and husband, Christian; grandchildren: Rhys Kerley, Andrew Kerley and Ethan Kerley all of Cleveland; nieces, nephews, cousins and many loved extended family members. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 16, 2010 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Earl Farris officiating. Dr. Lawrence Swan, Ronnie Blaylock, James Blair, Gene Marshall, Mike Green and Michael Marshall will serve as honorary pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service. His family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
