Bonnie Mashburn
August 19, 1928 — November 25, 2015
Bonnie Mashburn, 87, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at her home. She worked as a substitute teacher in both the Bradley County and the Cleveland City School systems. She attended the Peerless Road Church of God of Prophecy.
She was preceded in death by her, parents, Allie Ray Parker and Lydia Chambers Parker.
She is survived by her children, Sheridan Stout, husband, Lewis of Cleveland and James Mashburn of Chattanooga; seven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren; siblings, Paul and Virgie Parker of Cleveland, Betty Hildreth of Knoxville, Joyce and Wallace Coile of Farragut and Sandra and Joe Hildreth of Lenior City; and long time best friend Rick Wheatley.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 28, 2015 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 2:00 – 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 29, 2015 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with, Justin Bruce, Greg Barber, Robert Barber, David Arnette, Jaxon Arnette and Gary Coile serving as pallbearers. A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.
