Scott Alsobrooks, 54, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2017, at his home. He attended First Baptist Church in Cleveland and was an avid sports fan. He loved the Nashville Predators and the Vanderbilt Commodores. He never passed up an opportunity to tease any Vols fans. He loved spending time with his family and adored his grandchildren. Scott always had a smile on his face and was a true and loyal friend to many.
He is reunited with his dad, Lloyd Alsobrooks; brother, Gary Alsobrooks and special aunt, Evelyn “Nebbs” Ellis.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jennifer “Jenni” Akins Alsobrooks; mother; Joyce Adams Alsobrooks; children, Tara Davis and husband, Jacob of Glasgow, KY, Ellis Alsobrooks of Memphis and Mack Suits and wife, Sara of Lawrenceville, GA; grandchildren, Madison, Rylee and Hunter Davis , all of Glasgow, KY; sister, Tracy DeSirey and husband, Shannon of Nashville and sister-in-law, Lynette Duke and husband, Alan of Hendersonville; niece and nephews, Olivia DeSirey, Drew DeSirey and Ryan Alsobrooks.
A remembrance gathering celebrating Scott’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
