June Lawson

June Lawson, 85, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in a local hospital.  She was a former resident of New Mexico.  She attended Triune Assembly.  She was a trained ballerina.  She loved cooking and sewing, but most of all she loved her family.

Mrs. Lawson was preceded in death by her husband, William D. Lawson; son, Charles Lawson; parents, S. Tzuki and Kotoa Tzuki.

She is survived by her daughter, Wanda Preston and husband, David of Cleveland; three grandchildren, Holly Higgins and husband, Derek of Chattanooga, Daniel Preston and partner, Anna Baker of Chattanooga, and Joey Mitchell and husband, Casey of Cleveland; five great-grandchildren, Solomon Mendiratta, Milo Higgins, Lake Preston, Bodhi Mitchell, and Sage Mitchell; several brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews also survive.

A private service will be conducted at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.
