Paula S. McCullough

March 11, 1943 — March 2, 2017

Paula Joanne Savage McCullough, 73, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Thursday, March 02, 2017.  She was a gifted and prolific painter as well as a Member of the Tennessee Artists Association.  She loved reading, traveling and had a knack for designing beautiful jewelry.  She was of Baptist faith.  Ms. McCullough spent her career teaching Arts and English in the Bradley County School system, retiring from Bradley Jr. High School in 2002.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, John S. Savage, Sr. and Glennis Storey Savage.

 

She is survived by her daughter, Dana McCullough-Sewell (Tom) of New York, NY; siblings, John S. Savage, Jr. of Acworth, GA and Franklin Richard Savage (Danette) of Marietta, GA; niece and nephew, Jill Savage and Richard Savage.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 5, 2017 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.  Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 in the Eastview Cemetery in Rome, GA.

 

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home prior to the service.
