Robert Richard Gray

Robert Richard Gray, 89, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.  He had lived in the Bradley County area his entire life and had retired from Maytag Corporation with 34 years of service.  He enjoyed the outdoors, including gardening and farming.  He was of the Christian faith.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Leona Burris Gray; parents, George L. Gray and Mary Raines Gray; sisters, Inez Kelley and Hazel Stevison; and brother, George Gray.

He is survived by two nieces, Mary Morrow and husband John, and Beverly Chapman and husband Forrest; and two nephews, Larry Gray and wife Sandra, and Bill Gray and wife Rebecca, all of Cleveland.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend David O’Neal officiating.
