Jack Farrell Bennett, Sr.

Jack Farrell Bennett, Sr., 69, a resident of Cleveland, TN passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 in a local healthcare facility.  He was of the Christian faith.  He was the advertising director for the Cleveland Daily Banner for 25 years.

He was a Georgia football fan and loved the SEC. He also enjoyed golfing and outdoor activities.  He was an avid supporter of the local Boys and Girls Club and the United Way.

Mr. Bennett was the son of the late Burl Nicholas Bennett and Retha Kate Anderson Bennett and was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Bill Bennett and Tim Bennett.

He is survived by his wife, Charlene Bennett of Cleveland, TN; four children:  Jackie F. Bennett II and wife, Christina of Cleveland, TN, Angela Patterson and husband, John of Jacksonville, Florida, Ryan F. Bennett and wife, McKinley of Cleveland, TN, and Christopher F. Bennett of Cleveland, TN; three grandchildren:  John Steven Bennett, Ronnie Woody, and Desiree Kean all of Cleveland, TN; two great-grandchildren:  Camilla Hicks and Katie Young both of Cleveland, TN ; four sisters:  Carolyn Bennett of Covington, GA, Linda Carlise of Dalton, GA, Rebecca Moody of Dalton, GA, and Gail Francis of Calhoun, GA; one brother, Jimmy Bennett of Dalton, GA; several nieces and nephews also survive.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Beecher Hunter providing the eulogy. 

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
