Melvin O. Pike
August 30, 1943 — May 13, 2017
Melvin O. Pike, 73, a lifelong resident of Charleston, passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at his residence. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing and loved his family.
Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Pike; parents, Eldrick Pike and Sara Lee Malone Pike; son, Kenneth Huntsinger; grandchild, Ethane Haney; siblings: Ray Pike, Gordon Pike, Norman Pike, and Geraldine Pike.
He is survived by his children: Kimberly Rose of Charleston, TN, Stacey Pike Haney of Athens, TN, Lora Osmond of Old Fort, TN, Linda Locke of Chatsworth, GA, Joseph Pike of Charleston, and Ashleigh Rose of Charleston, TN; 13 grandchildren; siblings: Dennis Pike, Earl Pike, Reece Pike, Millard Pike, and Nancy Davis; several nieces and nephews also survive.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
