Billy F. Shelton, Jr.

Billy F. Shelton, Jr., 54, a resident of Benton, passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 due to injuries in a motorcycle accident.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles, fishing and hunting. He was of Baptist faith. 

Mr. Shelton was preceded in death by his father, Billy Fate Shelton, Sr. and brother, Rodney D. Shelton.

He is survived by his mother, Virginia Louise Hancock Shelton of Cleveland; sister, Debra Cooper and husband, Danny and nephew Josh Cooper, all of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 17, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with the Reverend Carl Duckworth and Beth Ochoa officiating.  Interment will follow in Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with Joe Kiser, Charles Kiser, Kenny Satterfield, Jessie Ochoa, Rusty Davis and Randy Davis serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
