Oscar Wayne King

Oscar Wayne King, 81, a resident of Charleston, passed away to his Heavenly Home on Thursday, July 13, 2017 after a long illness.  He was dearly loved and will be sadly missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.  He was retired from Wheelers Building materials.  He was a member of Redemption Point Church of God and attending North Cleveland Church of God currently.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Grace Ball, Mona Donohew. Mabel Bush, Samuel King, Blaine King and James King, all from West Virginia.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Alberta King of Charleston; children, Debbie Williams of Charleston and Crystal Garrett and husband, John of West Virginia; and Tim King of Cleveland; four grandchildren, Jackie Williams of Charleston, Miranda Saunders of Evans, WV, Amanda Garrett of Fairplain, WV and Alex King of Cleveland; great-granddaughter, Kaitlyn Garrett of Fairplain, WV and several neices and nephews also survive.

Memorial services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, July 17, 2017 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home.  A white dove release ceremony will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.
