Robert Arthur “Jim Bob” Randolph, 42, formerly of Cleveland, TN, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017 in Dover, Delaware.

“Jim Bob” was born in Cleveland on September 26, 1974 and was a graduate of Bradley Central High School Class of 1992. He was employed with Amazon for six years, having recently been promoted to Field Transportation Lead in Colorado. Prior to Amazon, he also worked with Bud’s Sports Bar for fifteen years. He was of the Church of God faith and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, shooting firearms, driving his truck to the beach, watching Christmas movies on the Hallmark channel and cooking in his smoker. “Jim Bob” also was avid baseball fan, having played on several teams during his youth, and went 3 years to the Dizzy Dean World Series and later winning the series in 1984.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Bob Mosley and father, Jim Randolph.

Survivors include his daughter, Mary Caitlyn Hollifield; mother, Brenda Randolph; brother, Jon Lee Randolph; companion, Angela Susann Purcell and her family, Rachel Purcell and Linda Perry; his grandmother, Virginia Mosley; aunt, Karen Mosley (Paul) Johnson; niece and nephew, Hannah and Eli Randolph.  Numerous extend family members and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, September 3, 2017 in the South Crest Chapel with Bill Winters officiating. A private burial will follow at Sequatchie Valley Memorial Gardens in Jasper, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until the service hour in the South Crest Chapel of Lane Funeral Home and Crematory, located at the end of historic Missionary Ridge, Rossville.
