Gladys Mae Chapman

Gladys Mae Chapman, 78, a resident of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at the family residence.  She was a member of Samples Memorial Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Chapman; parents, William Lee and Delise R. Adams; daughter, Tammy Shuiron Chapman and brother, Norman Adams.

She is survived by her three children, Johnny and Sharon Chapman, Sherry and Jimmy Higdon and Jerry and Linda Chapman; four grandchildren, Dusty Chapman, Ryan Chapman, Zack Higdon and Ciera Chapman; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Chapman and Ariat Thompson; brother, Preston Adams; special friend, Brenda Edwards and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 16, 2017 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Lee Ingram, Mike Rymer and Mark Cameron officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens with a white dove release ceremony concluding the service.  Dusty Chapman, Zack Higdon, Ryan Chapman, Chris Norwood, Roger Wheeler and Doug Ingram will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 15, 2017 at the funeral home.
