Walter James Hare

Walter James Hare, 77, a resident of Riceville passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at his residence.  He had lived in the Cleveland area since 1995 and was of the Baptist faith.  He was a dairy farmer.  He enjoyed spending his pastime reading and riding motorcycles.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Hare and Lucy Mae Comstock Hare; one son, Phillip Hare; and one sister, Jean Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Sibyl Maxine Kelly Hare; seven children, James Hare of Riceville, Teresa Bridges and Becky Hare of Polk City, FL, Robert Smith of Webster, FL, Mary Beth Johnson of Clarksville, TN, James Taylor of Cambridge City, IN, and Julie Taylor of Webster, FL; 28 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; one sister, Dale Chenicek; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

No services are planned at this time.
