Hugh Gwyn Robinson

Hugh Gwyn Robinson, 82, of Cleveland, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at his home.  He was of the Methodist Faith.  He had worked at Cleveland State Community College as a CPA, and retired in 1999.  He loved his children, grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, as well as going on vacation to the beach.  Hugh was a veteran of the United States Navy.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Katherine O’Shann Robinson; and parents, Hugh Gwyn Robinson and Edith Pierce Robinson.

He is survived by two daughters, Beth Cooper and husband Sam of Mason, OH, and Amy Woolson and husband Kevin of Mason, OH; three grandchildren, Charlie Woolson, Will Cooper, and Molly Woolson, all of Mason, OH;  one brother, Max Robinson and wife Lorraine of Farragut, TN; one sister, Diane Williams and husband Jim of Cleveland, TN; and one sister-in-law, Penny Bunch; and several nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at Calhoun Cemetery with Michael Bunch, Tom Bayliss, Matthew Swafford, and Andre Sebastian serving as pallbearers.  A playing of bagpipes will conclude the service.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations may be made to the Calhoun Cemetery, in care of Eddie Smith, 335 County Rd 20, Calhoun, TN 37309.
