Sibyl Maxine Hare

January 16, 1958 — April 6, 2018

Sibyl Maxine Kelly Hare, 60, a resident of Riceville passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at her residence.  She had lived in the Cleveland area since 1995 and was of the Baptist faith.  She was a dairy farmer.  She was a CNA and had worked at Life Care Center of Athens.  She loved to read and to spend time with her grandchildren and her dog Precious.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter James Hare; parents, John H. Kelly, Sr., and Myrna L. Evors Kelly; son, Phillip Hare; daughter, Myrna Marie Smith; brother, James Kelly; and sister-in-law, Jean Davis.

She is survived by her seven children, James Hare of Riceville, Teresa Bridges and Becky Hare of Polk City, FL, Robert Smith of Webster, FL, Mary Beth Johnson of Clarksville, TN, James Taylor of Cambridge City, IN, and Julie Taylor of Webster, FL; 28 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; two brothers, Johnny Kelly and Forrest Kelly, Sr.; one sister, Rosemary Davis; one sister-in-law, Dale Chenicek; and several nieces and nephews also survive.

No services are planned at this time.
