Mary Ellen Taylor

Mary Ellen Taylor, 91, of McDonald, TN passed away on Sunday April 8, 2018.   She was welcomed by her Loving Heavenly Father after a lifetime of faithful service to God.  Her highest aim in life was to be a help to those in need of her assistance.

She was the daughter the late James and Maggie Haven Elliott. She is preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, William Clyde Taylor, two brothers, Roy Elliott and Bill Elliott, and a grandson Ronald Pickler, Jr. 

She is survived by her four children, Dee (Tim) Wattenbarger, Carolyn (Paul) Barton, Robert (Christine) Taylor, and Allan Taylor; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild.

She is a member of the White Oak Baptist Church.  She was a faithful servant for Christ during her entire adult life helping many people in the community least able to help themselves.  Many of the friends that she assisted have also preceded her in death.  She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 12, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Bishop Willard Griffin officiating.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at the funeral home.
