Aleine Ervin Duckett

December 11, 1924 — April 28, 2018

Aleine Ervin Duckett, age 93, of Cleveland, passed away at her residence on Saturday, April 28, 2018. Born on December 11, 1924 in Monroe County to the Late Bud and Ida Stella Roberts Ervin, She had lived a majority of her life in Bradley County and was of the Baptist faith. She, along with her husband Carl, owned and operated Furniture Wholesale Company for 26 years.

In addition to her parents, She was preceded in death by her husband Carl Duckett; infant daughter, Margaret Eulene Duckett; sisters, Joyce Borden; Viola and Johnny Cline, Olivia and Alvin Gibson, Ethel and Joe Arnold, Edna ad Authur Buckner; brother, James and Ann Ervin; and son-in-law, Alexander J. Lawson.

Aleine is survived by her daughter, Catherine Duckett Lawson of Cleveland; grandchildren, Angie Lawson Goodwill and husband David of Cleveland and Shelby Lawson Bingham and husband Jason of Roanoke, Virginia; four great grandchildren, Alex Bingham of Durham, North Carolina, Margaret Elaine Goodwill of Cleveland, Sara Catherine Bingham of Santiago, Chile, and Bailey Bingham of Roanoke, Virginia; sister, Pauline Risner of Ohio; and a brother-in-law, Larry Borden of Englewood. Several nieces, nephews, and extended family also survive.

A Celebration of Life and Home going for Ailene Duckett will be conducted at 5p.m. Tuesday, May 1, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Justin Owenby officiating. A private graveside service will be held on Wednesday May 2, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 4 p.m. until the funeral hour.
