Larry Marvin Kyle, 71, a lifelong resident of Cleveland passed away Sunday night, in a local healthcare facility. He was a United States Army veteran, serving in Vietnam. He was a member of East Side church of Christ. He loved being a Grandfather He enjoyed restoring antique cars and showing them. He was a member of the American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn McKenzie Kyle, and parents Wilburn Kyle and Bertha Holloway Kyle, sisters Regina Buckner, Evelyn Green, Lilly Allen and, Betty McAlister; and brother Roy Kyle.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, one daughter, Christy Veler of Cleveland, one granddaughter Mayce Breanne Gant Taylor Kyle of Cleveland, sister Estalee Keller of Cleveland; brothers George (Sarah) Kyle, Herdis (Brenda) Kyle, both of Cleveland, Bobby (Barbara) Kyle, of Benton, Tommy Kyle, Benny (Debra) Kyle, and Jerry Buckner, all of Cherry Log, GA. Several nieces and nephews also survive, as well as a special sister-in-law Patsy Kyle of Cleveland.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Archey, Minister Bill Maynard and Elder Herdis Kyle officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at the funeral home.
