Randall William Lawson

Randall William Lawson, 69, a resident of Cleveland, passed away May 25, 2018 at his residence.  He had been a member of Westwood Baptist Church since 1959 and served as an usher for many years.   He was an avid sports fan who enjoyed basketball, baseball, and especially Cleveland High School football.  He was a retiree of American Uniform with 20 years of service, and he had also worked at Charleston Hosiery Mill.

He was preceded in death by parents, Franklin William Lawson and Hilda Marie Elrod Lawson; and nephew, Gavin Durone Lawson.

He is survived by his brother, Grayland Lawson and wife Sara of Cleveland; niece, Alyssa Lawson of Cleveland; and nephews, Braden and Barrett Lawson of Cleveland.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 in the chapel of Ralph Buckner Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Caywood and Reverend Jack Clark officiating.  Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
