William Cardoso

William “Sammy” Cardoso, 35, passed away on Sunday, June 24, in a local hospital. Sammy was born in Houston, Texas and for the past 20 years was a resident of Cleveland.  He was a much loved friend of Denise and everyone with Life Bridges, Inc. of Cleveland.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pamela Sue Gibson Cardoso and father, Manuel Cardoso of Nashville and grandparents Martha and Wm. Bill Gibson of Cleveland. He is survived by his sister, Rosalinda Mary Cardoso of Philadelphia, PA, and numerous great uncles and aunts and cousins in Texas, Indiana, North Carolina and Mexico.

Sammy really enjoyed the trips to Dollywood, the swimming pool at the YMCA and the activities at the Discovery Museum.  He quite often gave his friends acts of affection; a surprise pinch.   The delight was in Sammy’s smile and many times also seen on his friends.  Sammy enjoyed a variety of music, including Spanish, a language learned as a youth.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 2, 2018, at Ralph Buckner Funeral Home, Pastor Ramon Torres of Wesley Memorial Methodist Church of Cleveland officiating. 

The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
